I had a feeling you would, though I wasn't sure how much you cared for Scorsese, but excellent news nonetheless!<br /><br />I like my cynicism and depression in films, or in any art really, but during Hugo I had some of those moments of bliss. Amazement really. Being one the few proponents of 3-D, I was happy to see that actually added to my immersion in the world. And worked in conjunction with the film's themes. I expected to enjoy it, but not to the extent I did. I quite liked both of these fi...Really well stated. I quite liked both of these films but I do think that Hugo is a good deal better. Sometimes you come out of a movie theater knowing that there is joy and magic in the world, and Hugo was one of those times for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
